Florida is the perfect for getting out on the water with family and friends, but a boating accident could not only ruin the day, it could cost lives.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) are encouraging all to be safe year round and here are a few reminders.
- Drinking and boating don’t mix, and now you can be arrested for Boating Under the Influence (BUI)
- Don’t overload your boat with too many people and equipment, most boats are labeled with the maximum weight capacity
- Get a weather forecast, and remember that afternoon thunderstorms are a daily occurrence in Florida
- Learn about navigational markers, get a chart and GPS
- Propeller Safety, Educate children and adults alike to be careful of propellers and always turn off the engine when retrieving a skier or tube riders
- Always wear a Personal Flotation Device, Type III PFDs are comfortable enough to wear whenever you’re on the water
- Give your boat a pre-trip inspection, salty air corrodes wiring and there is nothing worse than staring at a huge thunderstorm and your boat won’t start. Also check your navigational lighting, the FWC will now ticket you for non-working lights, even during the daytime.
- Take a Boating Course, even if you’re an experienced boater, we’re never to old to learn something new
Required Safety Equipment (Check Regulations for Your Particular Vessel)
Personal Flotation Devices: One approved Type I, II, or III for each person on board or being towed on waterskis etc., in addition, one throwable Type IV device
Fire Extinguisher: Must be USCG approved, Must be serviceable condition
Visual Distress Signal: Required on the high sea and coastal waters only
Sound Producing Device: Every vessel less than 12 meters (39.4 ft) in length must carry an efficient sound producing device
For a safe boating course, check with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary or U.S. Power Squadron.
The Florida Marine Industry
In Florida, boating and the marine industry are a large part of the economy. Not only are boats used by recreational boaters, large watercraft are also used by commercial fishermen, tour operators and transportation industries like shipping and cruise lines. Watercraft are also used by law enforcement, search/rescue and homeland security.
The marine industry also provides many jobs in Florida. In fact many cities in Florida are famous for their yacht building. Stuart, north of the Palm Beaches is known for sport fishing yachts. Miami and Fort Lauderdale are also known for Mega Yachts and their annual boat shows.
Current international economic conditions and high energy prices have effected the Florida marine industry. Recreational boating has been hardest hit, with layoffs at many builders of fishing boats as well as specialty boats for skiing and wakeboarding. Other boats such as family runabouts, pontoon boats and other small boats have been impacted. The strongest sales have actually been larger yachts and sport fishermen.
The Florida marine industry is very active in promoting safe boating to the public. Many are involved in safe boating programs, education and training.

The only way you could earn that much is by freelancing. Ski instructor in the winter and scuba diving in the summer. For the majority of people, the sports industry is a notorious bad payer.
yeah sure and on actors and actresses that make over 250000 dollars a year and while were at it why not a surcharge on the taxes they pay just like we do to our corporations so that they are paying their fair share.
Huge conglomerates and corporations are parasites. They will stop at nothing until they suck their host dry. It is actually the problem with the whole country. Everyone wants to make more and more money. What most people fail to realize is, there is only so much money in existence. You are not "making" money. You are merely taking it from someone else. The Oil Companies, the Banking Industry, and Wall Street will ultimately be the end of the American Economy as we know it. If kept in check, these industries are integral to a healthy financial system. If allowed to run unchecked, they will devastate it, as evidenced by the current state of affairs. It all boils down to greed, man. The NFL is just as greedy as anyone. I understand that the NFL is a business and all businesses want to make money and be successful. But, it shouldn't come at the financial devastation of the consumers. They will eventually drive the prices so high that no one but the excessively rich will be able to afford to attend. I know that I damn sure can't afford to attend a pro game at this point. The Players are making nearly 50% of the NFL's total revenue. That is just ridiculous. They make way too much money by charging us way too much money to be fans.
Sorry so long but, that's my take.
Its that and worse. Obamacare will put the finishing nail in the coffin of freedom that this country was founded on by the Godly Forefathers.
I can't think of one thing worse than liberalism or those evil people that want to require you to pay for your neighbors health care.
I'm in a group with all of those industries plus natural resources.
Take her to lunch and keeop it short and sweet..then wait a few days and ask her again for another lunch..do this a few times and see if she shows she wants it to go further..good luck..do day dates though….and nothing physical…
I have this sense that you try very hard to do the right thing and though your beliefs are eclectic and somewhat polarized – you're doing your absolute best and staying "middle of the road" where it's safe.
You left out a synopsis of your "spiritual" self and I'm wondering why…since that seems to be the crux of all this (hence the commentary on belief structure).
Your question about people making their own moral rules and sticking to them…
society molds our morality…
there are some people that DO make their own moral rules and suffer extreme persecution for doing so.
I hope this rant allowed you to organize your thoughts and kept you from being to angry for long.
The man would have been naked too.
Eat what you want but biblically……………
1 Timothy 4
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Eating certain foods or avoiding certain foods
has nothing to do with salvation,
Responsible hunting/farming is important
for future generations and the Lord knew that.
what a great dream you had, about having dinner with obama. When will you be back for lunch?
I ♥ fruit & veges- they are my favourite foods!
Just because they are healthy doesn't mean they are bland and tasteless.. There are lots of sweet healthy foods like cherries, you can even have exotic fruits which are so good…
And vegetables can be really good, I love to just eat lots of raw carrots- I am scared one day I will turn orange..
I agree wholeheartedly. In my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, home of Pimlico racecourse, second oldest in the U.S. and home to the Preakness Stakes, the second jewel of the Triple Crown, probably at least half of the race-goers on Preakness Day are there to get drunk, which is encouraged by the media. I doubt that many of them know that there is a horserace going on. Now that I live in Florida, I joke about it (the low-class behavior of Pimlico race-goers) but it is disturbing!
The main concern is for the safety and welfare of the horses The disinterested "drunks" may cause injury to the horses through loud or abusive behavior. I'm not against serving alcohol at race courses, but security should monitor behavior and enforce codes of conduct.
I don't work in a very high end bar and I'm not sure where you are interested in applying, but one of the best ways to get a bartending job in a resturaunt is by starting as a waiter. Once you have a bit of bar experience you can take it anywhere. If you are looking for a quick fix, I would recommend going to a bartending school. They are not very expencive and usually only take a month or so to complete. You come out with a certificate, experience, and an answer to that dreaded question that interviewers love to ask.
Dear friend Gaura,
A human being should decide and find out the good way to live in the human lifetime on the earth.
The government gives the choice to each human being by making it freely available and legal to all the human beings in the human society on the earth.
You have to go to them, they are not coming to you – at least not at this stage. So ride up some elevators and knock on some doors.
Quasi means "semi." Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which have been in the news lately, were quasi-governmental organizations. They weren't really governmental subject to all the transparency laws that public bodies are held to, but they weren't completely private, either, since they had strong ties to governmental regulation.
Quasi sport means that it is like a sport, but it's not really recognized as a "real" sport. In your example, "quasi" is used rather loosely, which is common in American English.
Often times, something that starts out as a game between friends evolves into a real sport played throughout a large geographic area. Pitching washers, for instance, was just a bar game, or quasi sport, but it has evolved into a sport because a lot of people play it.
When a sport has gained broad acceptance, it's no longer a quasi sport.
Again, quasi is being used loosely. "Faux sport" might be a better term.
Also, if a sport has no real skill involved, people might say that it is a quasi sport.
First suggestion is to call and talk to her. Get to know her better on a personal level. Suggest at the end of the call that you could continue conversation at a restaurant. Ease into it. Don't act like you are in a rush.
Sounds to me like you and your mate are not compatable. If this person was really important to you , you would be less concerned with his views on massage parlors and more focused on his need to get help for his alcoholism. As for his views on massage parlors it is his right to have that opinion and having an addiction does not take away his rights to all other opinions. I also would not call him "prudish" because he doesn't share your beliefs on the subject. The fact that you have labled him "prudish" and "a drunk" really goes back to the fact that you are not compatable. If you respected/loved him you would not be so quick to name call and at the same time overlook his addiction.
It already has , just go to the store ………….
First of all, it would be nice if you cleaned your mouth up a bit here. Second, you stated, "Oh yeah, I've heard the Obama hype about all the "tax cuts" that the middle class folks are gonna get. But that's all it is…hype!" How do you know it's all hype when it isn't ready yet to happen? Ever heard of and practiced wait and see what happens? You are putting the horse before the buggy.
you said you haven't lived with your dad since you were 3 so how do you know you have a close bond?
also you will get a better education, no just that what u need to look at is your CV which u did mention, the UK economy is crap and spending on education is falling, i would take advantage.
I wear a uniform for sixth form and it is not all that bad, it was black pants/skirt with a white shirt and a tie and a blazer and i had to make new friends it was hard for the first few months i felt like a loser but then i soon became friends with everyone and in no time was being invited to any party going
and i too love sports where i am in sixth form it has amazing facilities, basketball court, tennis court squash court, en suit gym, netball court, hockey pitch, 2 football pitches, 2 rugby pitches, 2 rounders pitches, baseball pitch, badminton pitch, and gymnastics. you cant get that in state school in the UK, go private!
and in dubai they have an amazing education system and top teachers are living there because the pay is much better too, infact haha im jealous i wish i could have had that opportunity
spend time to catch up with your father, because when you go to uni you may find it too late(that is if you do go) and like you said you want to do sports, you have plenty of time to drive, i am telling you the years will fly by, i cnt believe i am going to uni this year
im 19 and i still dont drive
, i am going to start in uni, and te reason why i never is because i was always busy with my running and boxing and i was always ding work experience and still am!! and i have a job, my diay is just packed! lol. but i know i can learn when ever i want
there is no rush
yes you will miss your mother, but i am sure you can go spend time with her in the summer
new friends is great too
i do miss a lot of my friends, but i soon realised that it will happen at some point in my life
i dont watch tv so that doesnt bother me, but why dont you tr and find something to do out there like teach sports. I teach maths to younger children here some i do free of charge as i know they cant afford it but most i get £20 an hour for, up to you, just an idea, but the feeling i get is great
i taught a lad who was 2 years behind in maths and within 6 months was ahead of his class and that feeling was just great
I dont get EMA as our household income is over it, so i cnt relate to that, but the cost of living is so chea in dubai. also why not get a job?
and yes the drinking is a huge issue, but haha when my parents go away (which is al the time!!!) i throw house parties, and sometims they let me too, if your father is sound i am sure he wont mind, if you are willing to make the sacrifice to stay there i am sure he will sacrifice his home to your parties
I hope this has helped hun
xx

Dude! 31 living with mommy and daddy. Whats up with that? Nobody needs that much help unless there crippled, ether physically or emotionally. The ladies want guys who are strong not weak and living with your parents at you age is the weakest thing a grown man can do. Get out of there and spread you wings man! If you don't think that's your problem your delusional. Sorry for being so harsh but sometimes that's what guys need to hear.
Don't know what it's like at your house, but I already do everything you suggest and more. I'm 57 years old, 6' 2" tall, and weight 180 pounds. My wife is 47 years old , 5' tall, and 110 pounds. My oldest son is 26 and my youngest is 5. I have 5 kids total, none overweight, all in sports. They live a well balanced life. We never had to kick them off the playstation, because they are outside on their own. Their's no couch potatoes in my home.
Most Americans don't even know that their roll is already gone, the ones that do are getting prepared for….
"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."
Simple…just let her know that you're interested in a date. If she agrees, you're in. If not, move on.
What does this have to do with "Careers & Employment"?
There actaully are age requirements already in place to prevent minors ( kids < 18 years old) from buying certain products containing high amounts of stimulants or hormone replacement products such as HGH enhancers and testosterone boosters.
I do agree however that there is a major problem with the "buyer's market" mentality that some supplement companies have adopted in the last 10 years.
The only real solution though, is that the true responsibility lies with the parents to provide a thorough education on subjects like sports nutrition and supplementation. Just like the controversy over sex education in public schools, the parents are the final resting place for blame, and if they don't monitor their child in his/her supplementation, I don't think the company selling the product is to blame.
In most of Canada the drinking age is 19
I don't think the statement of "my thesis is", bu tthe rest reads wonderfully. It has a lot of description to it and even the violence is palatable. I would like a few more sentences to expand on the roots of wrestling…maybe enlist some of the ideas of wrestling in different cultures…just some thoughts
sounds realistic to me
I agree with everything you said. Wrestling is such a big business these days wrestlers feel the need to roid it so they can make a run at the top and it is killing people.
I agree about the injuries, etc. The WWE has cut some of the house shows in recent years. Here are a few other changes I think we need to see:
1)Have more realistic storylines. Things like McMahon's fake death, having affairs, etc. have always been tasteless. Do more real life stuff.
2)This isn't going to be popular initally but stop just featuring three or four guys. In other words, Cena and others don't have to be doing main event matches every week. It will save on some wear and tear.
3) You had a great idea. I realize the teenyboppers who can't get past looks, etc probably don't want to see guys like Flair that much but people like Ric, Jerry Lawler, Jim Duggan, etc. are legends and can teach the younger guys about ring psychology, good mic skills, etc. Use those guys more as mentors and not just as jobbers for the young guys. In other words, it is perfectly fine for Flair, Lawler, etc to beat the young guys because of "experience."
4)If a person gets in trouble with the law, fails a drug test, etc suspend him once and if it happens again send him packing.
If she's someone you know but you want to start slow, I'd suggest starting to call or email her. Let the calls and emails increase over time and see where it goes, she may take the hint and start pursuing you.
The actual question to which you you are seeking an answer isn't very clear. Can you clarify?
As for movies and sports – you have every right NOT to go to those and therefore not pay their outrageous prices. As long as fools keep paying it, they'll keep charging it. I haven't paid for a movie ticket or stadium ticket in years – I don't want to pay that much.
Now, as for doctors, it is not the doctors' fault that the medical system has become corrupt and bloated and bureaucratic. There has been too much interference by the govt into it, and with all the regulations, prices have skyrocketed. But the doctors aren't making any more than they were before.
And as far as lawyers, I personally believe if you're accused of something and then found innocent, the person who accused you should have to cover the costs of your legal representation. That would dramatically cut down on these stupid frivolous lawsuits that are clogging our courts and costing individuals and companies lots of money. But since you would need to pass a law to make that happen, and our Congress is full of lawyers, that will never happen – they don't want to cut down on business for themselves and their colleagues.
I am an American and I live in Japan — Here are my answers:
1) I can hold a convorsation, but it is my second language, so I am not perfect.
2) Read/ write to an extent. It is hard.
3) My favorite is "Ego-ga wakarimas ka?" It means "Do you speak English?". It is so much fun to say.
4) I am an exchange student and I have lived here for a year.
5) I am farmiliar with Tokyo and the surrounding towns.
6) The weather is like America; 4 seasons. Summer is very rainy.
7) City- Very high fashion. People are fast paced. Country- More traditional. People are very kind.
9) Look it up, I dont have enough room.
I will e-mail you the rest.

Yes a ball game would be good, anything that you know you have in common. Something perhaps that you talked about at the "event". If your having a party; or hell, have a party and invite her to bring along some of her friends too. Maybe there will be even more than one connection between acquaintances. I say go for it. The best part is that you know where/who each other comes from without having to learn as you go. Good luck!
It's rather obvious to me why you would: you're in the bar scene and you hang around strippers. Why else would you attract them?? Makes sense to me.
If you want a "regular" girl, you're going to have to be a "regular" guy. Not a guy that flirts with all these women EVEN if it's to maintain your business. You have to be what you want. I don't know many girls that would want to stay with you knowing what you do for a living, and you've already figured that one out. The only people that can understand your lifestyle are those that live it, and well you don't want to date them. See why celebrities usually date celebrities? They're the only ones that can understand what they have to go through for being famous. So, you either change up your lifestyle and become this person you wish you could find in a woman, or keep doing what you're doing and continue to attract the same women.
thanks!!!
We beat ourselves at D&D,
Then stretched our limbs and all had brie;
We jubilantly spread our crackers,
Knowing we were dungeon hackers.
But having lots of cheese to spare,
Including strangeish camembert,
We dialed into our BBS
(Which took five minutes, more or less),
To message up our friends the elves
To help destock our groaning shelves.
We waited, played at Usurper,
And two great rounds of Global War.
(As Kazakhstan, Australia,
And Russia, inter alia,
Will no doubt form a stable nation,
The Queen gave us a commendation!)
The elves arrived in magic boats
Which wheeled around like noisy floats;
As we were taking Oregon
We also met Ellorthegin.
The elves were great; they sang a song,
And they went at it, loud and long,
Lamenting all their elfish bliss;
Their song, I think, went much like this:
`The baleful snail of Alterdale
Was vile as it was vast,
For timeless evils set it there
In ages now long past.
`O elves and men, beware, beware
Of anything that's old,
Especially the baleful snail,
Which dwelleth in a wold.
`The wold wherein this snail didst dwell
Was earlier a lake,
So peaceful that it made elves well,
And thirst undrunk could slake.
`Alas, alas the wold was there
(A wold's a type of dell)
And anyone who breathed the air
Turned fatally unwell.
`To ye, O listener, knowledgise,
We're singing loud and long;
But also we apologise,
If thou hast heard this song.'
This was a natural stopping point,
We thought, and offered round a joint;
Alas, the elves seemed quite offended;
We said, `the offer's open-ended!'
But secretly, we all were glad
The elves had sailed off, rather mad;
For 'twas the only song they knew,
And hence we knew it through and through.
The premise is an elvish bigot
In days gone by, off on a frigate
Sailed, to cweal the baleful snail
In hail and lightning midst the gale.
But as the beast's a pseudopod
Too fine to snail around unshod,
It daily dons a shoe of orc,
And slaying them's his daily work.
The elf, who overcame the snail,
The orcish folk came round to hail;
He quite rebuffed them: `unshod shoes,'
He cried, just warming up his muse.
He belted out so much abuse
Their gratitude was little use;
Incensed, they strove to toast their hero
Round and round their cooking gyro.
Of course, a village quite too frail
To stifle, as he did, the snail,
Vainly strove in direful battle
With the elf and died like cattle.
(Incidentally, the joint was beef,
Which brought our silly elves to grief;
For should not we have joints enow
From the Cow of Glaspensgow?)
To resume, he razed the village,
Slew the beeves, did salt the tillage;
But right you guess– his wounds were such
That– well, the elves admire him very much.
So hence the lay of Finglewaer
Is over, but our camembert
Remains for something brainy, um,
Say, are you guys up to play a game of Cranium?
.

SOunds like communist Russia or China. From actual stories I've read. & since barry idolizes that for m of govt, may not be a made-up story for long.
I think it sounds like she would possibally feel the same towards you. If you are afraid of scarring her off, try talking to her first. Just start to mention how you are borred and have nothing to do, and that it would be nice to have someone to hang out with.
Thanks for the AWESOME tip! Are they as active as Yahoo Q and A?
The president of America did not mess up Enron, nor General Motors, nor the so many other companies who received money from the government but the companies did it to themselves.
